This house was amazing! Way more than what we expected. Its a hidden treasure in the hills with wonderful views from every room. The staff was so helpful with everything we needed. Hospitality was perfect and really made us feel like we were special guest. There is also a great restaurant to have dinner just up the hill from the house with great views as well. We loved how the house was not surrounded by lots of people and other houses so you can have fun and relax at your own vacation home. Town and markets were only about 8 to 10 mins away. I couldn't say anything negative thing about this place since it was really paradise! we would definitely return again!

Villa is absolutely amazing with stunning views and luxurious amenities. You have chauffeur driven car to yourself, which helps you go around the island. Great space for family and friends. Well put efforts Duncan!!

House was beautiful. The breeze on the hill along with the amazing view was better than being on the water. Tao (the driver) was such a nice guy, I can't say enough good things about him. We had a short power outage one night and he was at the door with candles in seconds. His wife is an amazing cook and I would suggest getting her to cook some traditional Thai dishes while there. We all had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

This villa did not disappoint!! Quiet location, amazing views, lots of space and great service from Tao and Pi. Would highly recommend to any large-ish group looking to get away from it all in Koh Samui. Tao and Pi were fantastic, house was spotless every day, even with two babies in tow, and Tao was brilliant with ferrying around people to fishermans village etc. It's also worth asking Pi to cook for you as the food was excellent. If a large group of adults with differing tastes as to what they'd like to do, I would recommend hiring a second car, which is inexpensive - Tao can arrange this for you too!!

Villa Velks was as good as we hoped based on the pictures and description on Trip Advisor. We were a group of 6 adults and 1 toddler and there was general agreement that this was everyone's most relaxing vacation ever. The views from the deck and pool were spectacular. The staff were great, keeping the villa spotless and driving us all around the island. If Koh Samui were closer to Canada, we would be back every year.

Samui is a busy island, but you wouldn't have a clue at Velks. It's location is perfect - just far enough away from the hustle and bustle, and just close enough to be convenient for shopping, drinks, bars etc. Set on the hillside the views mix between ocean and jungle and are just wonderful. All facilities fully functional, everything new and well maintained, lovely swimming pool, great view from the pool table in the evening and to boot - Prear and Tow are the first class in house team who look after Velks. They live adjacent to the villa and you wouldn't know they were there. Prear cooked some of the best Thai food we've ever had.
The outdoor dining (drinking) areas offer a beautiful sunset over the sea and a nice place to have a bottle of wine. Absolutely no complaints, couldn't be any better than it is. For a group or family visit with or without kids, this place is made for it.
Recommend visiting Ang Thom Marine Park and playing Foot Golf.

Villa Velks is a wonderful place that you should stay during your holiday.The house keeper is very nice and Mr.Tow is very helpful.We have 7 ppl this time and the villa is big enought to hold us , everyone have their private space in the villa. The fabulous swimming pool is highly recommened!!

We stayed at Villa Velks during August 2014 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was great with the most beautiful views, which you can enjoy whilst you eat your evening meal in the sala enjoying the sunset. The villa was incredibly spacious, clean and comfortable, and was perfect for all ages.
Our holiday wouldn't have been the same without the great help and care from Tow and Pray. Tow provided the transport anytime we wanted, showing us the local town and suggesting some of the local Thai places to eat. Whilst Pray took care of the villa, providing anything we needed as well as cooking meals. Definitely recommend trying some of Pray's Thai food, it was delicious!
Overall, we had an amazing stay in Villa Velks and can't wait to go back!

I have stayed in a lot of places in a lot of different countries, but this place really is special. The house is huge- enough room for 4 families, each with two young children, not too feel squashed. The pool, the view, the outdoor seating areas are beautiful. Tao and his wife looked after us so well, yet are not at all imposing. I really cannot fault this place. Thank you so much! Now to start saving to visit again...

We had a brilliant time and only wish we had more holidays so we could stay longer. The villa was lovely, Tow and Prae were all you could ask for helpful, considerate, good driver and cook! I need to go onto trip advisor and state all of this. We may break the habit of a life time and return (we have never ever gone back to a holiday destination). Definitely a 5 star experience.
